Effect of Cognitive Rehabilitation on Cognitive State and Depression of Older Men With Mild Cognitive Impairment Living in Nursing Homes

Objectives: Aging is a sensitive period in life. Due to the increase aging population and possibility of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) depression elderly, it necessary prevent Alzheimer’s disease these patients by improving their status depression. The present study aims investigate effect rehabilitation on older men with MCI. Methods & Materials: This quasi-experimental pretest/posttest design using control group. consists aged ≥60 years MCI living nursing home Kerman, Iran 2021. Using purposeful sampling method, 24 eligible were selected randomly assigned two groups (n=12) intervention (n=12). Evaluation state was performed Mini-Mental State Examination Geriatric Depression Scale, respectively before after intervention.
